ASSIGNMENTS

Due to the spread of the Covid -19 pandemic, the whole country is conducting the process of learning in online. Same goes with all students in Malaysia. As a university student, this was my first experience of online learning throughout the semester. Based on this page,  there are my list of assignments for this course during this 4th semester. Only week 1 until week 3, the learning implemented at the class but the rest week we did an online learning. 

Week 2 ( before Covid-19 )

This week is the beginning of the semester. We got acquainted with our lecturer, Puan Asmayati. She is also my PA at university. She is so kind and when I look at her, I will remember my mother at home. hahahahha. I really hope she will teach us again for the next semester.

So, she began to explain about this course and gave a list of assignments to do throughout the semester. This subject has no final paper and students only need to an assignments until Week 14. This is a list of our names followed by topic that has been divided and we are the first group need to be present for Assignment Peer Teaching that have been implemented at Week 3. 

So, me and my partner, Nur Hazirah binti Abdullah start to prepare the materials about our topic 'Microsoft Word' to present on the next week. 

Week 3 (Before Covid-19) 

Week 3 is the last week that we have the class, after that, all students need to return home due to the Covid-19 case. So, this week, we are the first group to present our topic which the use of Microsoft Word. In Microsoft Word, it has File, Home, Insert, Design, Page Layout, References, Mailing, Review and View. I explained about Design, Page Layout, References, Mailing and other than that was explained by Hazirah. We try our best to give a good presentation to all my friends and lecturer. After my group, the second group was present which is Nadiah dan Amanina about the use of Microsoft Excel. 

Week 4 - Week 5 ( We were already at home and followed Movement Control Order )

Week 6 ( start do an online learning) 

Assignment 1 : ICT-Based Assessment Tools

In this assignment, we need to do in individual to create the ICT Tools for learning such as crossword puzzles, word search, jumbo, and more. Every students need to choose only two types of them and we need to give the explanation and instruction how we create that. I choose crossword puzzle and word search for my task. Week 7 

Assignment 2 : Infusing ICT  

In this assignment, we need to do in a group (partner with the same person again, Hazirah 😝). This assignment is to design a lesson by infusing tool that we need to be more focus on 3E element which Engage, Empower and Enhance. These elements use for teaching model. We need to this assignment based on topic that we got ( Topic 1: Introduction to the chemistry) but, madam give us a chance to choose another topic due to the topic we got was not provide more informations and contents. Assignment 3 : Developing Teaching Material 

In this assignment, we also need to do in a group to develop a teaching material using Microsoft PowerPoint. We need to prepare the slides or notes about the chapter that we got. For your information, we can use this notes that we already did it when we be a teacher and want to teach the students about  this chapter.  Here is the link that you can copy to open and see how we did it.

Week  14  

Finallyyyyyyy, this is the last week of this semester! Very hectic week that all students can feel it. All students worked hard to complete all the assignments to be submitted on this week

There are two assignments that we need to submit on this week which is Assignment 4 and Assignment 5. 

Assignment 4 : E-portfolio 

For your information, this blog is for this assignment. We need to create a blog and do what the task wants. We need to do is :

1. Personal Information (introduce ourselves and give details about our background including education

    background)

2. Career development plan (we need to describe about our career, our plan and goals), 

3. Teaching philosophy (need to explain what is your philosophy if you be a teacher, try to create it by
    your own)

4. Assignments ( we need to list and explain all the assignments that we already do for this course

    during this semester)

5. Reflections on every class sessions

6. Online survey  

7. Materials or information

Assignment 5: Promoting Product 

This is the last assignment in this course that I need to do it with my partner. We need to promote our product and bonus marks will be given if we have many testimonies or customers that buy our product. For this assignment, food is types of our product. We are selling a lunchbox and the idea comes when my sister has been started selling a lunchbox during MCO. So, we think why not we promote this lunchbox and alhamdulillah we got many customers everyday. So, in this assignment, we choose Wix.com as platform to promote our lunchbox.                 At the end of this study, what i can conclude is this course is very enjoy and make us use many ICT tools to complete the assignments because this course is Information Technology and Communication in Chemistry. We get many benefits from this course such as we know various types of software and know the functions to use it, we know how to create a blog, what the best platform to promote our business. So many advantages that I got from this class. I love my lecturer too. She is very kind and can understand us well. As we know during online class, not all of us have a good internet connection, so she understands if we cannot attend her class. Last but not least, i hope i get A for this course and get the same lecturer on the next semester.
